Artificial Intelligence (AI) is becoming increasingly available and accessible by providing innovative approaches that allow, if correctly integrated with the development of software projects, to support the management of business processes and choices on business processes in an even more effective way.
A very important role is played by Machine Learning techniques, where by managing large quantities of labeled learning data it is possible to extrapolate correlations and predictive models that support decision-making processes for the company’s business.
The availability of advanced tools and platforms (see for example the AWS ecosystem), which make AI techniques easily usable to apply them to business needs, make it increasingly easier to exploit new technologies, once restricted to research environments only or university experimentation.
It follows that the benefits and usable potential are having impulses that were not imaginable until recently (Chat GPT is an example accessible to all…).
Certainly the integration with AI and Machine Learning techniques (computational statistics, pattern recognition, artificial neural networks, adaptive filtering, …
) will be increasingly present and integrated into company software, whether it be new packages or legacy software, and this integration will allow, if well organised, to enhance the company software assets which are specific to each company.
